Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Our Commitment & Policy Overview
At CoudFinet, we are committed to delivering high-quality Shopify services and fostering a transparent and fair relationship with our clients. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy is designed to be straightforward and clear, respecting the nature of the digital services we provide.
Due to the nature of our work—which involves significant investment of time, expertise, and dedicated resources from the moment a project begins—our services are considered rendered as work is performed. Unlike physical goods, digital services and labor cannot be "returned." Therefore, we have a strict "no refund" policy after a project has commenced.
2. Pre-Commencement Cancellation & Full Refund
We understand that circumstances can change. A full refund of any deposit or upfront payment is available under the following specific condition:
- You are eligible for a full refund if you request to cancel our services in writing (e.g., via email) before you have signed our service agreement/contract AND before we have commenced any work on your project.
"Commencement of work" includes, but is not limited to, project setup, initial research, discovery calls, design mockups, or any billable activity related to your project.
3. No Refunds After Project Commencement
Once a service agreement is signed and/or we have commenced work on your project, no refunds will be issued for any reason. This includes deposits and any milestone payments made. By signing the agreement or remitting the initial payment, you acknowledge and agree that you are committing to the full cost of the service, and CoudFinet is committing its resources to your project.
4. Service Package Feature Substitution
We aim to provide maximum value in our service packages (e.g., Starter Launchpad, Business Plan). We understand that not every feature included in a pre-defined plan may be applicable or necessary for your specific business.
- If a specific feature within a service package does not apply to your project, we will work with you to substitute it with another customization or feature of comparable value and effort.
- This substitution must be discussed and mutually agreed upon in writing before the project work officially begins. This ensures the project scope remains clear and fair for both parties.
5. Commitment to Client Satisfaction
While we do not offer refunds, our primary goal is your satisfaction with the final product. We build processes into our projects to ensure the outcome meets the agreed-upon objectives. If you are not satisfied with our work, we will rely on the mechanisms outlined in our Terms of Service:
- Revision Process: We provide two (2) rounds of revisions during a 3-business-day review period to address any issues or minor corrections.
- Open Communication: We encourage you to provide clear, consolidated feedback during the revision rounds to allow us to make the necessary adjustments. Our commitment is to deliver a final product that aligns with the approved project scope.
6. Non-Refundable Third-Party Costs
Any fees paid on your behalf for third-party products or services are strictly non-refundable through CoudFinet. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Shopify subscription fees
- Paid Shopify themes
- Third-party Shopify Apps
- Domain name registration fees
- Stock photography or font licenses
If you wish to seek a refund for these items, you must do so directly with the third-party vendor, and you will be subject to their individual refund and return policies.
7. Chargebacks
By engaging our services, you agree that you will not file a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company for services rendered or in progress. Doing so is a breach of our agreement. In the event of a chargeback, we will provide evidence to the financial institution proving that the service was ordered and that work was performed, including a copy of our signed agreement, email communications, and proof of deliverables.
